When you place you order on the UK Tarps Ltd website you will be asked to confirm that you accept our terms and conditions laid out here.
All our tarpaulin sizes are 'cut sizes' which is industry standard terminology for the size of the material before it is fabricated into a tarpaulin. Therefore expect the 'finished' size to be up to a maximum of 30 cms shorter.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received and accepted your order. Please note that if there has been a mistake in pricing or delivery costs that would have been obvious to the customer, we reserve the right to request additional payment for the correct amount or cancel the order.
We aim to get your order delivered to you as soon as possible, normally within 48 hour from shipped notice. Orders received before 3pm Mon-Thu and 12.30pm Fridays will normally be packaged ready for collection by our delivery company on the same working day. Standard orders received after 3pm Mon-Thu and 12.30pm Fridays and orders over 100kg after 12.00pm will be collected by our delivery company on the following working day. Customers will normally receive their order two working days after collection from ourselves but this may, in exceptional circumstances, take up to 5 working days. We will send you an email when your order has left our premises. Please bear these timescales in mind before contacting us about non-delivery. Should you opt for our Royal Mail delivery, no tracking facilities exist and therefore we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred. 'Pickup From Store' orders are normally available 2-3 working days from order. You will be emailed when order is ready for collection.
Please note "2-3 days" "Next Day" "48 hour" "24 hour" or "Next Working Day" does not include Saturday, Sunday or Bank holidays.
As we use external parcel carriers we cannot be held responsible for any delays or non delivery they incur in the delivery of the products ordered.
All delivery dates offered are entered into in good faith but cannot be guaranteed. It is our recommendation that no work should be undertaken until the goods have arrived.
If your item is not in stock for a web order, we will email you before deciding how to proceed.

Our order and payment processes are fully secured using a 128-bit encryption payment gateway provided by SagePay (formerly Protx), who handle over 4 billion transactions for the UK market each year. Customers may pay by credit/debit card. If you wish to use an existing PayPal account we are also able to accept payment using this method, which is presented as an option during checkout.
How to Place an Order
Placing an order with UKTarps is easy. You automatically register your details when you place your first order online. We are also able to take orders and process payment over the telephone if you prefer, although this could incur an admin charge. Please call us on 01784229777 with your requirements.
- Find the Items You Want
- Add the Items to Your Shopping Cart using the 'Add to Cart' button. To remove an item from your cart, tick the Remove cross next to the item. To change quantities for an item, enter the revised number and click the Update button.
- Proceed to Checkout using the Checkout button.
- Sign In as a Returning Customer or a Create a New Account.
- Check the Shipping Address and change / create a new one if necessary.
- Choose a Shipping Method.
- Choose a Payment Method.
- Review and Submit Your Order - you must tick the box indicating that you agree to our Terms & Conditions.
- Make your payment using your chosen method with our secure payment partner
- Check Your Order Status in your Account
RIGHT TO CANCEL
Under the distance selling regulations, if you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund of the original goods purchased. Your cancellation rights expire 7 days after receipt of the goods. The distance selling regulations (www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm) provide further information regarding your cancellation rights. Deemed delivery date will be 2 working days from date of posting. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing or via email using the contact information on this website.
Goods returned due to cancellation must be complete with any original packaging and be in a re-saleable condition, i.e. not damaged, stained or used. The customer will bear the cost of returning the goods to UKTarps. We will issue a full refund for the original goods purchased.
You must call us before returning any products, we will only accept returns if we know about them.
We DO NOT operate a 'Sale or Returns' policy.
You may, at our discretion, return a product at your expense and we will give you a refund, excluding any delivery charges. Unless you cancel your order within 7 days following the date of delivery of the product, in which case we will also refund the delivery charge. We reserve the right to deduct a 15% restocking fee from any refunds. Once we have received the goods they will be inspected and the agreed course of action executed. The goods must be sent to us unused and in their original packaging. You should ensure there is sufficient outer packaging of the product to ensure safe and secure transit of the goods back to us, as the returned product must be 'as new' and in a resellable condition. It is the responsibility of the buyer to safely return the goods back to us.
In the unlikely event that a product is faulty or it has been damaged during delivery, we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any defect must be made within 7 days of the product being delivered to you. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.
We do not accept returns on any bespoke or 'Cut Length' products as these cannot be made available for resale.
Due to the vast amount of different uses of our products we cannot be held responsible for any third party damage incurred in their use.
As all of our tarpaulins are subject to varying weather conditions and put to so many different uses we cannot guarantee the length of time they will last. Generally speaking a heavier grade tarpaulin is more likely to last longer than an economy grade tarp. To maximise the lifespan of your tarpaulin we recommend to securely fasten your cover, and ensure that the sheet is not able to flap about. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by wear and tear, or degradation through UV.
Please bear in mind that eyelets can also come under a lot of pressure, and so any stress points should be reinforced. While the material a tarp is made from may be heavy duty, no guarantee is given to the eyelets. Fixing additional eyelets can help spread the load.
